Celestial Eyes

Image
Celestial Eyes is a 1924 painting by Francis Cugat, but most known for being the original cover art for Francis Scott Fitzgerald's novel The Great Gatsby . The image is a combination of 2 references in the novel: The billboard of Dr. Eckleburg watching over the Valley of Ashes and Daisy Buchanan. For more information, see: Celestial Eyes The Great Gatsby   The image of Lyssa Drak watching over The Book of the Black in DC Universe Online's Raging Night episode looks striking similar to Celestial Eyes, especially since Lyssa has bluish skin and yellow eyes. One has to wonder if it was inspired by it. Here's a version I merged with Gotham Amusement Mile so that it looks similar to Coney Island at the bottom of the original...

2-Row Ability Tray Recommendations

Image
Happy 15th Anniversary! The 16th year starts off with a pretty big bang with the addition of a 2nd row of loadouts. The sudden addition increases our characters' power levels considerably once ironed out and used right, but can be quite overwhelming at first. Hopefully this article give you some direction in how to set up your loadouts. I will keep it as general as possible so that it can apply to all power sets. From Patch Notes: New Additional Ability Tray The Additional Ability Tray is a major quality-of-life and combat flexibility upgrade that significantly expands how players build and use their loadouts. This new system introduces a second, fully functional ability tray, giving players more room to adapt, specialize, and react during combat. With the Additional Ability Tray, players gain access to a second full set of abilities that can be configured independently from their primary tray. While only one tray is active at a time, players can instantly swap between trays with ...

Campaign 2025 Reward Analysis

Image
You worked 4 campaigns across the year and we're now finally at the end. The choices for reward are all big ticket items, so you will want to think hard and weigh out very possible reason. You will also want to think and anticipate future releases. In this article, I will analyze my 3 accounts and why I made the choice for each one as they are not exactly the same. RE: Shaded Comic Shaded Comic is the only reward choice that does not affect progression in the game. It is purely cosmetic but ultra rare. Based on RNG it is also the only one above $100 value. I favor progression and I will be weighing out factors related to progression and strengthening the characters on each account. For this reason, none of my accounts will choose this option. Additionally, Shaded Comic is a very nice material, but it has 1 imperfection that bothers me... there is no skin to match it. The material gives the character a pseudo cel-shaded texture, but it doesn't look right on the style of skin. It...

DCUO: Metal I, Galaxy Brain Feat

Image
I thought I'd make an article for this old Metal I feat since it's easy to forget after not doing it for years. This is the solo feat for arranging the panels that unlock the Rogues Exhibit . Click the cog to start the game Click to move the Sound panel away from Fire Click either Ice or Clouds and swap them The only requirement is to not have Sound and Fire touch after 2 moves. So if you achieve it on the first move, the second move is arbitrary as long as you don't move Sound again.

DCUO: Wolf Pack Token

Image
Step-by-Step 1) Buy the Wolf Pack token from the Marketplace. You can do this on any character as it will appear as a currency across the account. 2) Log on the the character that holds the Level 200 artifact that you want to replicate to all other characters. 3) Go to Constantine in the House of Legends and buy the Wolfpack version of the artifact that you want to replicate. Only the ones at 200 will be available to buy (the others appear in red), so that safeguard is there at least. This will use up the account wide 1 Wolfpack currency. 4) Unequip and unprotect the manually built artifact. Feed that into the level 0 Wolfpack version. This does not use any catalysts or other components. 5) Once you do that, a ticket will appear in your base dispenser. Redeem that and then the Level 200 Wolfpack version will appear in the base dispenser for every character on the account.  Applications While this is a very costly item, even on sale, you now have a fully leveled artifact for...
