DCUO: All the King's Mermen

Image
Note: This is an old post, but the instance and its feats haven't been changed. Fortunately NPC are much easier to kill in the current state of the game, so there is some time savings. Original Date: February 25, 2019 Location: Justice Girls league site This feat entails taking out the following adds before killing off Corum Rath: 13 Flames of Sagittarrius 32 Brine 23 Drift / Silent School 5 Barnicle Golems 4 Morgwar While the list is daunting, it's really not as bad as it seems because many of the counts will come automatically while trying to get others and they come out during specific points in the battle. The Team Because this is a long winded feat (be sure to carve out about 2 hours to form, prep & execute), endurance is far more important than damage. You don't want to get 70% done with the counters and then wipe only to have to do it over! We had 2 tanks to separate the various add types & distract the boss. 2 healers to be completely safe. With 2 healers th...

DCUO: The Silent School Checklist

Image
Note: This is an old post, but the instance and its feats haven't been changed. Fortunately NPC are much easier to kill in the current state of the game, so there is some time savings. Original Date: November 23, 2018 Location: Justice Girls league site Silent School is an RNG-based alert with a lot of feats. I'm pretty sure every run we do will be some kind of feat run. So it's good to have this checklist handy and be aware of which ones you need before we go in. Pisces Be My Chum - KO statues in chum (pink puke) locate the shark with the red liquid (chum) at the timer, move clockwise as the chum shifts over rotate your self heals & have a lot of defensive abilities slotted in Electric Ave - don't get electricuted by eel statues locate the shark with the chum and be on the shark to the right of it (no traps, perfectly open) at the timer, move clockwise to the shark that had the chum as it will be clear the next round if there's no rush, you can also have 3 play...

DCUO: Don't Fight the Power

Batman in JLA Watchtower NOTE: This is an old post, but the feat still exists and the way to get it remains the same, although the current state of the game makes this easier than it's original date. Original Date: October 15, 2015 Location: Justice Girls league site This a feat for both the regular Watchtower alert and the LPVE version. The regular version of this is a non-issue. This guide concentrates on the LPvE version where you're not using your powered up character. You have 4 rounds to defeat Eradicator before he enrages. So you must burn roughly 25% per round. Note that Round #2 is shorter than the other three. So don't get too much into a rhythm or you might kill a drone by mistake. Look for the drones to release much earlier. All 4 players should use the legend they output the most damage with. Don't worry about teamups and checklists for this run. I recommend going with a legend that has a 35% finisher like Wonder Woman's Coup de Grace. This should be sp...

DCUO Archive: Villain CC Route

Image
Gotham City NOTE: This content is no longer relevant as base teleporters were added shortly after the Home Turf DLC. With the addition, there is no longer a need to travel from bounty to bounty by physically flying to them. This archive shows how inefficiently we did things back when it was current! We had to go back to the Watchtower or Hall of Doom in the middle when switching cities. The 2 in Central City are both available and the respawn timer was reduced across all of them. Original Date: AUgust 25, 2014 Location: Justice Girls league site I don't have too much experience with the villain bounties. I did 2 runs by myself and last night lead a semi-pugged group. As many know, the hero order is: Boom-Piper-Trick-Heat-Cold-Top-Weather (Zoom & Abra can be either at the start or end) ...which is based on shortest distance. You exit CC and go to the closet teleporter, Gotham East. You work your way to the Diamond District station and teleport to Metropolis Midtown. Then you wor...

DCUO: Corner of Gotham & Vine

Dark Knight Batman at Arkham Asylum Note: This is an old post, but the instance and its feats haven't been changed. Fortunately NPC are much easier to kill in the current state of the game, so there is some time savings to what is still a grindy feat. Original Date: September 2, 2013 Location: Justice Girls league site Description: Wrap up each of the Gotham Heroes in Quick-Growing Vines inside the Arkham Asylum solo instance. This is a villain only feat from Ep6: Home Turf . This has to be one of the worst feats in the game. I finally got it the other day, so I wanted to share all the information I gathered. You need the quick-grow vines from one of the external missions. So when you have that mission, don't waste them all... use only as much as you need to complete the task. The vines expire in 7 days. So when you get the random daily task, know that you'll be spending some time replaying the interior instance... possibly without completing it right away. This took me abo...

DCUO: Who's the Boss? - The Hunt

Image
Note: This is an old post, but the instance and its feats have never been changed. Original Date: August 18, 2013 Location: Justice Girls league site Here are some screens of the visual cue for telling which boss you'll face in the Huntress solo. You don't even have to start fighting to see it. Just go to the corner of the conveyor belt and look towards the mobs. There will be a different object to the upper right. Venom Canister = Bane Cage = Killer Croc Dufflebag = Hush Lab Vat = Scarecrow

DCUO Archive: Recovery Kit Value Formula

Image
NOTE: This content is no longer relevant as recovery kits were phased out on July 18, 2018 when Augments were introduced. However the article still shows how calculations can be worked out for spending in this game. Recovery Kit Value Formula Original Date: April 26, 2013 Location: Justice Girls league site One of the things that seemed appealing about GU25 was the ability to recover exobytes from modded gear... until I saw the price tag! So I tried to come up with a formula to figure out if the plan is worth the marks and here’s the result... Step 1 - figure out farming time saved from the # of recovered exobytes Avg # of bits recovered / exofarming rate = time saved Avg # of bits recovered seems to be 1/3... so a Mod III will give back 3 of 9 Exofarming rate is # of bits you can gather in 1 min of play time Step 2 - figure out time it takes to get the marks to buy the plan Basically, add up all of your missions until you come up with the number of marks for the plan. Then get the tot...
