DCUO: Reign Style

Supergirl, Alyssa and Wonder Woman in Zol-El's Lab

Aftershock was released for Shadow of Argo on July 28, 2026. The big reveal was the first in-game appearance of the Supergirl villain, Reign. So naturally, I have to breakdown the styles and go over the possibility of what can become player elements.

Reign

As with most new characters, Reign is very well detailed. She has good contrast and realistic texture maps on her armor. She animates well without any parts clipping or breaking. This is generally a good sign that the style can be applied to player characters.

Head Area

Looking at the head, face and hair styles... The tiara rests a little high up on the forehead, which would likely cause it to clip most hairstyles in the game unless part of the forehead is included with the tiara as a mask. The tiara could also be part of the hair (as seen on Carol Ferris and Fatality styles), but that would disqualify it from being colored by materials. The tattoo on her right eye could be done as an accessory. The hair by itself is doable as there are many new styles in the game now that wrap around the neck.

Body Area

The asymmetric pauldron and bracer are always nice additions that can work with just about any set. The cape is also slightly asymmetric as it wraps one shoulder. These should all be doable as we've had many recent examples. The chest style would likely have to include her upper body type because it looks pretty integrated here... or the player one would just have to be modified to be less attached. The belt and pants look like 1 piece here. This can go either way for the player. But if they are separate, each may run into clipping when used with other styles.

The overall fact that all of the slots are filled in here suggests that this will likely be a vendor set for the next episode or one of the future Children of Krypton ones.
