Alyssa Goldenblade: Red Phoenix

Image
Alyssa is the "phoenix" counterpart to Shadowdragon's "dragon," so a lot of her styles will take on firebird characteristics... mostly with fire motifs. Outside of DCUO , I usually depict Alyssa with blue fire, but in game, the fire power gets red special fx, so I often end up color matching her armor. Head: Celtic Crown This is a lightweight glowing crown to go with the red special fx. The Celtic Crown without a material applied already looks like it has a material. In this case, I applied the red phoenix material just so it can be matched exactly to the back, shoulders & hands. [from Spring Seasonal Vendor] Back: Ancient Divine Sorceress This Circe inspired cape was one of the styles I was waiting for with unlocks as it's only on the villain side. It's actually a popular style that encouraged enough heroes to go over and play a villain up to Amazon Fury II just to bring it cross-faction. It has an avian look while remaining a cape, whi

Justice League Dark (Test): Chaos Gotham Open World (continued)

Another run of the JLD open world dailies yielded an efficient overlap of all missions! On the flip side, it makes the weekly counter fall behind as that still has spawn issues. Here's a first look at the Open World Missions from JLD (coming 3/28/2019). This is a run at the normal daily routine. Unfortunately the pointer mission footage didn't come out right. Speeding Up Seasonal Collection Drops

Image
Even though the newer seasonal collections seem to drop at a somewhat even rate (as in no super rares) since going to the format of buying the final from the vendor, there may be some that still come across bad RNG. In this video, I point out how to increase the odds significantly. Atlantis: All the King's Mermen

Image
This feat is at the final battle of the raid, Atlantis: The Throne and it entails taking out the following adds before killing off Corum Rath: - 13 Flames of Sagittarrius - 32 Brine - 23 Drift / Silent School - 5 Barnicle Golems - 4 Morgwars While the list is daunting, it's really not as bad as it seems because many of the counts will come automatically while trying to get others and they come out during specific points in the battle. The Team Because this is a long winded feat (be sure to carve out about 2 hours to form, prep & execute), endurance is far more important than damage. You don't want to get 70% done with the counters and then wipe only to have to do it over! We had 2 tanks to separate the various add types & distract the boss. 2 healers to be completely safe with health levels. With 2 healers there really is no danger of a wipe. 1 controller is good for this as Corum Rath is the only real boss figure & the tank on the flames/morgwar is doing

Alyssa Goldenblade: Kryptonite Batgirl

Image
The following armor was made with Injustice 2 in mind, where all of the characters were geared up to fight Superman. While Cassandra Cain (Batgirl/Orphan) was not in the game, I wanted to take her traditional outfit from Batman: No Man's Land and armor it up like the black, gray & green Batsuit from Injustice 2. Head: Dark Knight Cowl or Gotham Knight Dark knight cowl is pretty much the only choice I go with for most Batman inspired looks. Alternatively, as pictured, Gotham Knight (Nightwing) is used when the cowl is off for a more movie-like Batgirl look ( Batman Forever, 1995 ). [Dark Knight Cowl = Marketplace; Gotham Knight = Promethium Lockbox] Face: Split Personality or Emissive Eyes The Cassandra Cain fully covered head can only truly be achieved on female characters with Split Personality (male style is compeltely different). The female style is a half ninja mask that covers the bottom half of the face perfectly. It must be set to all black though as the 2 sid

Price Guide: Resurgence III (Part 2)

Image
Here's a 2nd look at the Resurgence III Material prices about 3 weeks into the promo (2 weeks from the last analysis). These are still not the finals or best prices, but they somewhat follow a similar pattern to the last video and the drop rate should be close to previous Resurgence events. The end date for capsules drops is March 19, with the final capsules expiring in 14 days after that. Atlantis: March 2019 Vendor Additions

Image
Vendor additions made their debut in Deluge when Daybreak would release new style items to jump traffic to the current DLC. The pattern they seemed to have settled on is 2 released, which we first saw in Teen Titans and now Atlantis. I would expect this going forward as well. The first round for Atlantis included the constricting eels accessory, golden age material and King of Atlantis style items (Aquaman's gloves, boots & belt). The March 2019 items will be covered below along with how I used them: Ocean Master Helmet (Prince of Atlantis) This is the head style from the updated Ocean Master costume (influenced by the Aquaman movie). Of the items in this release, this is the iconic, hence the one with the feat attached. While I don't have a character that really works with the style, I just placed it on my Red Lantern for when I use him in Atlantis content. Supporting styles include the Drift back with Aqualad shoulders as hard light constructs. Drift Backpack

Atlantis: Silent School Checklist

Pisces Be My Chum - KO statues in chum - locate the shark with the red liquid (chum) - at the timer, move clockwise as the chum shifts over - rotate your self heals & have a lot of defensive abilities slotted in Electric Ave - don't get electricuted by eel statues - locate the shark with the chum and be on the shark to the right of it (no traps, perfectly open) - at the timer, move clockwise to the shark that had the chum as it will be clear the next round - if there's no rush, you can also have 3 players wait outside & one person solos it. 1 target is harder to hit than 4 and the statues are not really scaled for 4 people. Cancer No Distraction - don't use gongs & taunts in brine room - The "taunt" is loadout #2. So don't use this at all. - If you have aggro, keep circling a shark statue for cover. - Use loadout #3 to heal whenever your health is below 75%. Starving the Sharks - choose the right shark in under 1 min Barna
